Nokia has filed a lawsuit against Apple

The Finnish company Nokia has filed a lawsuit against Apple for patent infringement. The lawsuit claimed that Apple uses without permission of the Finnish company's patented technology in all models of iPhone from the beginning of their release in 2007.

These 10 patents in suit relate to technology, essential for the production of devices that are compatible with one or more standards, GSM, UMTS (3G WCDMA) and WLAN. Patents protect the rights of wireless data transmission, voice encryption, security and encryption. According to Nokia, Apple has violated all of these patents, using them in the iPhone.

According to the press service of the Finnish company, for the past 20 years, Nokia has invested in research and development for more than 40 billion euros. Nokia has licensing agreements, including on those patents, with 40 companies - almost all the major providers of cellular phones.
